About the event

Facilitators: Beverly Gorman, MBA, MSW, LMSW and Phillip Garcia, CPSW.

The Positive Indian Parenting PIP is developed by the NICWA, that provides practical and culturally specific training for American Indian and Alaska Native parents.


This training is a two-day course focusing on traditional and culturally specific parenting practices and values. We will explore attitudes in a variety of traditional child-rearing ways and apply them to values and challenges of a modern and parenting skills.
