Gathering of Native Americans

This two-day course of Gathering of Native Americans (GONA) is a community-centered event created to bring Native community members together in a space of healing, reflection, and reconnection following the impacts of COVID-19. This gathering honors the lives of those we have lost, recognizes the collective grief our communities have carried, and uplifts the strength that continues to move us forward.

Throughout the event, participants will have opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations, cultural activities, and shared experiences that support healing and wellness. This space is grounded in community care—where individuals, families, and relatives can come together to reconnect, support one another, and strengthen relationships that may have been impacted during times of isolation.

The GONA focuses on promoting healthy pathways forward by combining education, cultural knowledge, and community-led practices.
