About the event
Led by Native Artist Alice Hollow Horn, a proud member of the Oglala, Sicangu Lakota, and Tsalagi nations, Beading is Medicine is a community‑centered workshop designed to support healing, creativity, and cultural connection through hands‑on beadwork.
In this session, participants will learn to create their own Medicine Bags using traditional materials and guided instruction, offering a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with culture, intention, and personal wellness. This family‑friendly space welcomes relatives of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds to join us in creating something beautiful, purposeful, and rooted in tradition.
